I love writing, I always have. I used to write short stories about everything from marrying Nick Carter (yes, I was a Backstreet Boys fan. I said was, right? ) to murder mysteries (even though I’m the biggest chicken EVER). I took every english class my high school offered, and planned on going to university for Journalism. Once I learned how cut throat the major was, I chickened out, told ya, and opted for Environmental Studies. I. FELL. IN. LOVE. I was always a geography nerd, but the tree hugger in me had yet to fully bloom. So basically, I hope this blog combines both, since I miss writing terribly, and I try to live as green as possible, and keep my family as green as possible. There’s gotta be people out there that want to read about it, right? RIGHT?
So here’s the run down:
I’m a wife. I’m married to the most amazing man ever. No seriously, lots of women say that, but I wholeheartedly mean it. He has changed my life in ways I could never imagine, and I love him with every ounce of my soul. He is a way better man than I could ever deserve.
I’m a mom. I have the most wonderful son, the smartest son, the cutest son, I could have ever asked for. His personality is a complete mix of my husband and I, in the best and worst ways. He rocked my world like I never expected, but I wouldn’t change what we’ve been through for anything.
I promise to write about interesting stuff, and not just throw lists of “greening your home” and links to coupon sites. Because, in case you didn’t catch on, I’m not a coupon queen. I will use them, but I’m not going out of my way to find them, or buying a name brand just to use said coupon. I thrive on creative ways to save money, and opting for the cheaper route whenever possible. I will use coupons, I’m just not obsessed with them.
