This weeks’ meal plan is a little different. I planned dinners, and I bought the things that I needed (under budget!) but the dinners for the end of the week aren’t really set in stone as to what will happen and on what nights…this is what happens when we sorta have plans. My birthday is this weekend (last one in the 20s for me, next year is the big 30!) and we have tentative plans to go over to my husbands’ parents for dinner, we just don’t know which night yet.
I also had to pick up some more things for my Foodie Pen Pal, this is my first month participating, and I have to get my little bundle wrapped up and in the mail before the 15th! I got an email yesterday from my pen pal, and she said she has already sent my package! SO EXCITING! Expect a post on the last day of the month revealing my treats!
So here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – ham and cheese quiche with tomato and cucumber salad
Tuesday – slow cooker chili
Potentials for the rest of the week:
grilled cheese with avocados and veggie fried rice
bbq’d hamburgers and potato salad
veggie and bean fajitas
