#B90Days – Entering Week 3

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen me tweeting about doing readings, and adding the hashtag #B90Days. No I am not back at school taking any course; I am reading the Bible, in 90 Days.

This may or may not seem like a big deal to you. But considering I am a stay at home mom with very little time to myself, a house and two kids to take care of, it is a big deal. It works out to be about 1 hour of reading a day. We are just starting into week 3, and so far I am right on track! Though I have had to give up some tv time and I am running much less, but sometimes spiritual health is more important than physical health (I am still do my weight/strength training).

I don’t get all religious or political on this blog very often, but I am Catholic, and this is a significant part of my life right now, so I wanted to share it with all of you! Feel free to check out Moms Toolbox for more information on this reading program.

  1. That’s what I need to do – give up some TV time (and some computer time) in order to make B90Days work. Doesn’t help I run my business from home and take care of my girl… tend to spend all day on the computer writing code – in between saving the house from random toddler destruction!

    1. I find nap time is usually when I can get some reading done. I do chores first and if there is time to read before the kids wake I will. Otherwise it is at night before bed. I find myself asking “should I be read instead?” a lot when I am doing something frivolous with my time.
      Good luck with the reading!
