Meal planning with a chance of things changing drastically…

Well, as I’m sure most of you have heard, there is a big storm heading our way! Sandy is currently hitting the US east coast pretty hard, with much more to come tonight. Though I don’t live on the coast, and not anywhere near the coast, the size of this storm is impacting a lot of us that live inland in Ontario. So I planned our food for the week as normal, but bought extra stuff that can be made easily without power, since that is a possibility over the next couple days.

Here is what we ate eating this week:

Monday – baked pork chops with roasted asparagus pasta

Tuesday – chicken strips and veggies fried rice

Wednesday – spaghetti (and hopefully some trick-or-treating with the kids if we don’t have rain and 100km/hr winds!)

Thursday – tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches

Friday – black bean and cheese quesadillas

Hope everyone out there impacted by the storm stays safe!

As always, I am linking up with Org Junkie!
