I’m feeling rebellious in this last week of my 20s (I’ll be 30 next weekend!), so it’s Meal Plan Sunday this week!
Actually, tomorrow is just a crazy day, and I’m taking the time to write this up now, instead of tomorrow morning, so I might as well go ahead and post it tonight too.
I have to do our usual big grocery shop tomorrow morning, hopefully kid free, since my husband is off. My Mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I had no ideas, so tomorrow we are hitting the mall together, which is going to be great. I love shopping with my Mom, and not having to take the kids is a real treat! We also have a family picture session booked (thanks Groupon!), and my husband as a final flag football game. I’m exhausted just thinking about you Monday…and as tired as I am thanks to a little girl who doesn’t like to sleep any more, I still forced myself to make my grocery list and plan our meals. I’ll thank myself each nice this week when dinner is planned out for me.
Here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – turkey kolbassa stir fry with broccoli and carrots (from the garden!) over brown rice
Tuesday – crock pot rottisserie style chicken (made this the other week and it was amazing!) with mashed turnips (from the garden!) and salad
Wednesday – chicken tacos (leftover crock pot chicken)
Thursday – island pork tenderloin (seriously, you need to make this!) with brown rice and salad
Friday – black bean burritos
