It’s the first week of September! I was really tempted to hang the fall wreaths on the front doors this weekend…and if it wasn’t for dealing with a hornets next above the doors, I probably would have! I’ve already seen so many pictures on Facebook and Twitter of people enjoying their first pumpkin lattes, even though it’s still hot and humid! I don’t know if I would go that far yet, but I am so ready for fall! The clothes, the crisp air, all the yummy fall treats I will bake. It really is my favourite time of the year.
Those of you that are heading back to school tomorrow, as teachers, or parents of school kids, I hope you all have a great day! It’s going to be eventful for us, with it being my son’s 1st day of Junior Kindergarten! I’m so excited for him, and so very nervous.
Here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – cheesy beefy baked pasta
Tuesday – island pork tenderloin with brown rice and turnips
Wednesday – Thai chicken salad wraps (same recipe as last week, but in wraps this time)
Thursday – crispy orange beef and broccoli over brown rice
Friday – baked fish with lemon garlic noodles and roasted cauliflower
