Well it’s been a busy, fun and stressful weekend, and I’m glad its over. These next few weeks are also going to be super busy, but all in good ways: birthdays, holidays, and weddings!
On Saturday we attended a special screening of the new Thomas the Train movie “King of the Railway” in Toronto. I won the tickets (thanks Listen to Lena!), so we loaded the kids in the van bright and early, and headed in to the “big city” as they call it. They played with train tables, ate candies and popcorn, enjoyed the movie, and each received an impressive loot bag afterwards. It was fantastic, the perfect way to spend a rainy Saturday.
With a short school week this week, packed with picture day, me cleaning the entire house and prepping for my daughter’s 2nd Birthday party, why not throw in painting a bathroom, finishing off the kitchen command centre, and maybe re-decorating the living room too…I must enjoy being super busy and stressed, since I seem to add all this to my own plate…Oh well, at least my meals are planned for the week:
Monday – baked pork chops with roasted cauliflower and red peppers
Tuesday – Sante Fe slow cooker chicken over brown rice with salad
Wednesday – perogies with bacon and salad
Thursday – pork kabobs with brown rice and salad
Friday – baked tortellini with peppers and zucchini
Hope you all have a great week, and don’t forget to plan those meals! As always, I’ll be linking up with Org Junkie this week.
