Meal Plan Monday -Sept 30 2013

What a busy, but amazing weekend we had! We celebrated my daughter’s 2nd Birthday on Saturday! We are so blessed to have such a large family, and nearly all of them live super close too! So we packed our little house full of 15 or so adults and 7 kids! It was awesome. Great food, great conversations, crazy kids running around, and of course lots of presents. I cannot believe she is 2 already, but at the same time it feels like she has always been a part of our family.

We took it easy on Sunday; attended Mass with Grandparents and cousins, played with all the new toys, watched the Buffalo Bills win, took the kids to the park, and went out for dinner. That doesn’t sounds like an “easy” day does it, lol! It was jam packed, and the next few months are going to be just as busy! We have a birthday nearly every weekend for the next two months, plus Thanksgiving, my brother’s wedding, and then it will be Christmas! Speaking of Christmas, how organized are you? I’ve already started my shopping, and am planning to finish up some crafty projects this week…nothing like adding more to my already full plate!

Hopefully I’ll get a post up this week about the party, until then, here’s what we are eating:

Monday – chicken veg marinara (yes, I will actually be adding chicken to this, like the original recipe calls for)

Tuesday – breakfast for dinner (pancakes, bacon, and fruit)

Wednesday – takeout

Thursday – my famous spaghetti

Friday – baked tortellini (again, because it was so awesome!)

As always, I am linking up with Org Junkie. Stop by for some great meal ideas! Happy planning!
