It’s March Break here in our house, meaning my son is off school all week, and I am trying to keep both kids entertained to keep the fighting at a minimum. So far so good, but it’s only Monday…
This weekend was pretty big in our house; we moved my daughter out of her crib in the “nursery” and into a twin bed in the now “big kid bedroom” (formerly my son’s bedroom). Changing what we call the rooms sure has helped with all of this, so has letting them help decorate the room and pick what toys they keep up there too. Naps and bedtime have been a breeze so far, and I’m hoping it keeps up. And speaking of that room re-decorating, I will have a post for you later this week, how we turned my son’s room into a shared boy/girl room for very little money! LOTS of pictures, so stop by later in the week for that!
As for now, here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – cottage pie (a tweaked Jaime Oliver shepperd’s pie recipe from his Great Britain cookbook, using ground beef)
Tuesday – beef tortellini with bacon and broccoli, garlic toast and garden salad
Wednesday – peirogies with bacon and peppers and garden salad
Thursday – black bean and sweet potato tacos
Friday – glazed salmon with lemon garlic noodles and salad
As always, I am linking up over at Org Junkie. Happy Menu planning everyone!
