And here we are in a new year! And thankfully back to our regular routine! As great as our little Christmas vacation was, I am so very happy to be back to our usual school week schedule! Knowing exactly how my days are laid out really helps with the little OCD voice in the back of my head. It’s great knowing what needs to be done and when (thanks to my meal plan, and my cleaning schedule too!), without having to think too much about it.
The planning also really helps, since this month is going to be a busy one! I started a small part time job a couple months ago that has me working a few hours each month. This month is big for me too with the television debut of Not A Coupon. In a couple weeks I will be appearing on a local daytime talk show to share some DIY cleaning products! Don’t worry, I’ll share more about that, and hopefully they will post the link online and I can share that too :). As well as continuring to write for Real Housekeeping and Dynamic Women of Faith. My husband and I are also celebrating our 7th anniversary, and the kids are starting up their activities again with ballet and floor hockey.
Busy busy busy! But that is life as a family of five!
2014 was such a great year for us, and 2015 is already shaping up to be a great year! With talks of family vacations and camping trips this summer, our middle child starting school in the fall, and of course all the firsts our youngest daughter will experience! I hope 2014 was kind to you, and wish you all the best in this new year!
Now let’s get down to business! Here is what we are eating this week:
Monday – slow cooker beef stroganoff
Tuesday – meatballs in gravy with mashed potatoes and broccoli
Wednesday – pork stir fry over noodles
Thursday – cheese burgers and raw veggies (carrot sticks, peppers, cherry tomoatos) and homemade hummus
Friday – salmon with rice and zuchinni
As always I am linking up over at Org Junkie. If one of your resolution is to get more organized, her site is a great place to start!
